Where do you want to celebrate Software Freedom Day 2011?

Software Freedom Day is a world wide celebration of Free and Open Source Software….”

I’d like to travel and celebrate the SFD at St. Paul University, Tuguegarao City organized by Team sfd.ph
It’s been a couple of years since the last i ride on a bus for about 13-14hrs hours. I miss travelling alone, keep silence, specially with this event.
Probably, I will stop by in Santiago City ( where I grew up, year 2007 was my last vacation in there) and meet my friends, old folks and relatives before going to Tugue, how exciting it will be eh.
I just need 4 days to spend, to meet the demands of my activities, +1 for the event. But here it goes time never permitted me.

I’m glad that 32 teams this year are going to celebrate SFD here in the Philippines. Hooray!… Horaay… what a happy day…

Question: Now, where am i going to celebrate SFD 2011?

I’ll be having ubuntu free talks on September 17, 2011 at Polytechnic University of the Phillippines, Quezon City Campus organized by:Team DOMT  (Morning Session)
and I’m also going to attend the afternoon Session of  Software Freedom Network at University of Santo Tomas. (I’m not sure yet, if time permits hehe)

“Celebrating SFD is like FOSS, it’s a matter of choice, you are always FREE to choose what/where you wanted to,  choose what’s best for you,  FREE as in FREEdom.”

How about you?... Where do you want to celebrate Software Freedom Day 2011?
Come and join, pick an event near at your place..MAP

SFD was successfully hold in Palawan, Philippines

AABC FOSS SOCIETY who made the first Software Freedom Day in Palawan successful.

There were Participants from College/University, LGU from Municipality of Bataraza, Philippine Navy, and Philippine Coast Guard who actively participated in the event.

I presented Ubuntu,  gave a basic Installation demo, lightning talks on how to help the community (Translating, Bug Triaging, Testing & Advocacy) of course,  invited them to join Ubuntu Team Philippines.
